I’m guilty of not taking the peppermint capsules…for whatever neurotic reasons, but the peppermint tea tastes great, and I’d like to think that it helps to settle my stomach. I refuse to try the fennel tea, because it smells like black licorice, which I think is horrible! I’ve heard other people swear by the peppermint capsules, particularly my neighbor who has Crohn’s Disease. Again, the peppermint tea has a wonderfully pleasant, and not too strong, taste. Heather’s website, helpforibs.com, is packed with information, stories, and more products.

I’m pretty sure the tea has helped but I wouldn’t bet the farm that its a “cure all”. I’m guilty of not using it regularely but anytime I feel like I’m getting bloated the tea seems to help. I especially like the peppermint tea but the fennel is nasty tasting to me. Seems to pricy for tea leaves but if you get any kind of relief from agonizing gut pain its worth it. I will still be looking for a cheaper version but for now its worth continuing.
